Quay West Studios is an independent recording studio built inside a Gothic church on the south coast of the UK. At its centre is a purpose-designed control room, built around an API 1608 console with Genelec monitoring. The room is designed for clarity, depth and decisions you can trust. The studio offers two distinct recording environments. A tight, controlled live room with just enough natural ambience to bring sound to life, and the vast nave, an expansive second space ready to explore, delivering scale, air and one of the most powerful drum sounds you will find anywhere. A grand piano sits within the nave, the space responding with a natural reverb that feels effortless and musical.
